About the project

The Lake Chad Basin Conservation Project is funded by Global Affairs Canada and implemented by Alinea International. The project is delivered in three countries: Cameroon, Niger, and Chad, and is implemented in close collaboration with the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC).  It aims to improve the climate resilience of ecosystems and structurally marginalized communities vulnerable to climate change, particularly women and youth, through nature-based climate solutions.
